Fabulous Friday fiction

Not long after starting writing ‘properly’  in mid 2009, I discovered the #fridayflash hashtag on Twitter. The #fridayflash movement was founded by the lovely Jon Strother. Until I found this group of incredibly generous readers and fellow writers, I didn’t really enjoy Twitter. Too much randomness and not a lot of conversations I wanted to be a part of. Once I was bitten by the #fridayflash bug, however, Twitter suddenly made a lot of sense. We each write stories most weeks, post them to our blogs and then tweet the link along with the hashtag. There’s some great web fiction out there and I urge you to check it out — #fridayflash is one rabbit hole you’ll be happy to disappear down.

I post a new piece of short fiction every Friday over at Ten Seconds a Day – why don’t you jump over there for a read? This week’s story is called ‘Fire Dance’.
